OUR HIRING PHILOSOPHY:

Let's be honest: cleaning is physical, sometimes unpleasant and repetitive job. But cleaning also requires meticulous eye for detail, stamina, in depth knowledge of surfaces and thinking on your feet. This vocation is a stepping stone for many people. We seek out passionate individuals with great life stories and even greater life ambitions. Each person on our team is highly motivated as a way of life, often coming to us during a time of transition as they prepare to take the next step towards their ultimate goals. We pride ourselves on encouraging everyone on our team to live their best life, and we accept that they might only work with us for a summer, year or two before tackling their next challenge.

Positive staff turnover is something we embrace, because it means our people feel supported in achieving their dreams and inspired to become their best selves.

Some of our past team members have gone on to become nurses, pharmacy assistants, clinical psychologists for youth, while our current team members are going to school for RMT, obtaining their Masters Degrees and learning English in a new country. So next time we come to your home, feel free to ask us what else we are passionate about… because there's more to us than just cleaning.

Since a unjust russian war in Ukraine, we hired over 18 Ukrainian refugees to help them start their new life in Canada. Don't be surprised if an electric engineer or a grocery store owner will be caring for your home.

THE BUSINESS STUFF:

• We only have employees coming to clean your home; we don't work with contractors, sub-contractors or random people from online apps.

• We believe in living wage, and once trained, our staff makes $23+/hour, have access to optional SunLife health insurance, company events, getaways, paid days off, and appreciation for the hard work they do.

• Our employees are insured, bonded, and WCB covered in case of injury at work. 

• Potential hires are vigilantly pre-screened with background checks before training begins.

TRAINING & EDUCATION:

While cleaning is not regulated industry (it should be!), we put extra effort to get our team vigorously trained. Our founder, Mariya, has created Education Series, that teaches team in workshop format about home surfaces, upcoming trends, and improving technology. We collaborated with industry experts that hosted us in their showrooms.

COMMUNITY:

• Our cleaning line donates a portion of proceeds to local housing initiatives, because there is no place like home. We have donated over $10,000+ since 2019 to Children's Cottage, Calgary Drop-in, Alpha House and Brenda's House since.

• We have been actively hiring and providing social support to Ukrainian women since unjust russian war. Starting a new life in mature age and in a new country is extremely difficult, and secure employment is essential.
